I watched Katie's last day on the "Today" show today, she fits in the morning so well its going to be weird seeing her on evening news. I didn't know that her husband passed away, maybe I knew but it didn't register. She is so pretty, I love her hair and that bubbly personality that she has without it being annoying.

Shepard Smith is cutie, I wonder what kind of competition the two will have.

I don't really watch the news its but I did today to see Katie!

Need a real craft store

in Sierra Vista!!! Walmart does not have my bamboo handles for my purse so that isn't done yet. I'll order some fabric and get those then. I really do wish we had someplace besides Walmart to get craft supplies. S's pants that I started on hasn't been completed either cuz I need elastic, waiting on the mailman to deliver it.

Here is my first completed sewing project. It was supposed to be a dress for S but I stopped following the directions and ended up with a shirt. Here it is....

It's a 4 day weekend!! We plan on spending some time at the pool & dh is going to watch some fight with the boys. The city turns 50 and they have activities going on including a carnival & fireworks one night.

We got our settlement on our household goods. I am so shocked on how fast we got our fat check, it only took 3 days!! We didn't go thru the military it was a direct settlement...definately the route we will go with our claims from now on.

Dh's lil sister was in a car accident last nite we got the call early this morning. They had bad weather last night and the car hydro-planed spun around and the wheel locked up and hit a house...scary! The other passengers are ok she was rushed to the ER. Today was supposed to be her last day of school. We are thinking about u Steph!!

On another note, why are people so freaking NOSEY!! If I want someone to know my business then obviously I would tell ya.

Gosh,

It's been a great month!! I love MAY it's the best month ever.

Mother's Day, dh cooked breakfast and S set the table. It was such a relaxing day. The kids were great and dh took me shopping!! I love to shop spent alotta money but after all I am the momma. One of my goodies a sewing machine AKA "The Beast" of course I had to go buy material and all that other jazz! It's pretty, quiet and runs so nicely just like a well oiled machine!! I made a purse but I need the bamboo handles that I keep forgetting to pick up at Walmart. The next project is pj's for the kiddos.

DH's had two lovely days off last week he came home and took S to the pool. I was able to get my running around done and spend some time with him since schooling hrs are a little crazy. Can't complain tho he has a wonderful NCO's previously and a great unit so I am greatful that he has been able to be there with all the drs appts and time off when needed no extra duties, definately not a common thing with the military.

We discovered Tombstone this weekend its about 15 miles or so from here. We had a great time. We went to the Bird Cage Theatre took the self guided tour there and also we to the O.K. Corral to watch the gun fight. DH loved it, he loves history so that was right up his alley. It was hot tho so we are gonna go back since I didn't want the kiddos out in that heat to long we spent the majority of the day there. DH came home and watch "Tombstone" the movie..I tried to watch but of course fell asleep.

DH took me out to dinner for my birthday. I decided on Applebee's since we hadn't had that in a while. It was wonderful. I had a steak, veggies, mashed potatoes, DH had penne alfredo pasta, S had a corn dog, applesauce

Ok so I know I haven't written about my wonderful Mother's Day (I will when I have more time) BUT I WON a personalized name hanging!! U know those cute lil ones that are made outta wood and hung by ribbon that are ohhh so adorable.

My momma got her garden-in-a bag today. DHL is super fast. I called her as she was walking in the door from work so she opened it while I was on the phone with her. She LOVED it, totally unique and different. All u do is open the bag and throw in water put it on a window sill and watch it grow. I think she will actually put them in pots tho knowing my momma. I am glad she loved her momma's day present.

My hunting was haulted since the bandwidth went thru the roof and then the server crashed so they got it back up and running yesterday. So I am at 80 outta 170 icons, still have lots to go but I have plenty of time. I have seen some adorable websites by doing this, makes me wanna buy stuff from WAHM's than from companies now.

We had taco's for dinner well actually...dh had a burrito, taco style tho and I fried up a burrito shell. First time I had done that but it tasted just like my taco salads I usually get at a Mexican resturant. S ate all of hers tonight she must have been hungry.

H enjoyed her bath tonight kicking up a storm like S did when she was little. I need to get started on her baby book before I start forgetting her lil milestones.

All the housework is done, I am ready for the weekend to get here. I heard from C today, all is well with her dh and she sent pics of the kiddos they are getting TALL!!!

My lil baby, she is soo adorable. I love that lil toothless smile. It's hard to remember S being that lil.

Mother's Day Cards that dd & I made for the momma's in our family. I sent my momma a garden-in-a-bag tomatos & strawberries. She will enjoy them I am sure to go with her new house.

I talked to her today and she got her new couch. It's the same couch as we will be getting once we leave here. She loves it so far. I can't wait to get mine.

I cooked manicotti tonight it was yummy. My cardigan hasn't arrived yet I hope its gets here soon it's already been mailed from what the site says, maybe they need to be called just in case. Dh has been busy with school stuff. Now I know how RW felt when her dh was exhausted by the time he got home.

I am anxiously awaiting to hear from C, I hope her dh is A-ok!!

Saturday

Well, I slept in today until noon...which made the day go by alot quicker. We headed to Target to shop, picked up milk too. I can't go to bed without a nice big fat glass of chocolate milk. I have had this lil chocolate milk kick going since the beginning of my pregnancy with H.

We went out dinner tonight it way YUMMY!! Johnny Carino's is where we went they had CANNOLI's. Of course I couldn't eat dessert after my meal so I brought it home. I couldn't leave there either without a cannoli. I ate one as soon as we got home before dh decided to hide them on me. I took pics for my momma to be jealous, oh she is gonna love me!! The bread dipped in roasted garlic & seasoned olive oil was so delicious.

Tomorrow, I wanna hit the pool & go to the dog show.

It's late, need to hit the hay.

Finally Friday

This week has gone by so SLOW!! I am all caught up on cleaning and laundry. I would go shopping if I had the car. We can't wait to have both of our vehicles again!!

H had a drs appt last week she is a lil bag of sugar, 10lbs. She got a check up and shots. Dh & S went to get meds for her while I did the shots with her. They came back and H was done. S saw that she had bandaids. Dh proceeded to tell S that she got shots. S said "Momma, I want a shot". I had just walked back from making sure S was on schedule with having all her shots NOT, she was missing two!! I didn't understand WHY she was missing those since she has NEVER missed a drs appt. Either they changed the shots around AGAIN, or some how missed it. So S had to get 2, Dh took her I already had to hear H cry it was his turn...shots break my heart!! I heard two lil shouts then she came out with lil tears her eyes. She was concerned about the bandaids all afternoon. So both are all up-to-date!!

I hope this weekend is a LONG & PRODUCTIVE!!

I need something to satify my sweet tooth off to bake.

I have been busy scavenger hunting, I hope my luck will pay off with some free goodies! I got lil dd's CD in the mail it looks so cute on her..now I wanna try 2 others to check the fitting on them but I am waiting and hoping my luck will strike big!

Big dd & I went grocery shopping today, it was crazy. I guess Tuesday's are bad here since they are closed on Monday & payday.

M sent my goodies that she picked up for me, thanks hun!! Moola's in the mail.

I am waiting on a NEW cardigan to get here that I got off the net. I can't wait to wear it since I some how misplaced the one I had. The catalog I got was full of cute clothes I added everything up that I wanted haha $600 later. I want a whole new wardrobe. K, I need u to go with me so u can be my personal fashion consultant.

I can't believe its MAY! The year has gone by so fast..seems like we were just in Hawaii but we have been gone 3 mths already. My folks are moved into the new house..I can't wait to see it all filled up.

DH seems to be enjoying school..the girls are good. Big dd LOVES to talk, she talked non-stop in the commissary. She put herself to sleep last night talking. Everything these days that consists of food 'is a lil spicy' even tho its bread, pasta etc. Momma, nats a lil to spicy for me. I love that lil girl soo much. She got an EARLY birthday present this weekend, what a great buy it's been.

It's past my bedtime. My eyeballs need the rest.
