Weather

It looks like Friday afternoon to Saturday afternoon...we will be getting some rain and wind. So I am putting off grocery shopping until it passes. I would hate food to go to waste if we loose electric.

...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HONOLULU HAS CONTINUED THE FLOOD POTENTIAL OUTLOOK FOR THE STATE OF HAWAII

......HEAVY RAINS AND FLASH FLOODING POSSIBLE FRIDAY THROUGH THIS WEEKEND...

Usually when we hear about tropical storms we think of the southern Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico; however, Tropical Storm Kenneth, in the Pacific, is aiming for Hawaii. The only silver lining is that Kenneth should weaken below tropical storm status before moving toward the islands later this week. Nonetheless, this storm could still have an impact on Hawaii later this week in the form of heavy rain, gusty winds and rough surf.
